Colourful Nudes

This series of linocuts is based on drawings from my sketchbook from a life drawing course at the University of Arts Linz, which I attended in 2018 and 2019. I wanted to free the drawings from the sketchbook, so they could be shown individually.

Each print uses the white-line technique: rather than carving away the surrounding surface, the lines themselves are cut out of the lino, so they stay white while the rest of the block takes the ink. Every motif has its own colour, from a single strong tone to a two-colour gradient, on white paper.
